Pyramids of Giza in Egypt

Giza Pyramids is one of the 7 wonders of the world. It is in Giza near Cairo Egypt. It was built in 2600 BC by the 4th dynasty of Pharaohs.

Pyramid is built using massive limestone blocks with thousands of laborers, millions of visitors visit this place. It is the largest pyramid which has ever been built. These structures can leave anyone speechless.

Temple of Karnak

Temple of Karnak is in Luxor, Egypt on the east bank of Nile. It is one of the largest religious complexes ever built. There are 134 giant pillars in this temple, high over 20 meters. It’s like you are entering a different world. You must visit this place during the sound and light show at night. It’s a must visit site for the tourists.

Abu Simbel

Abu Simbel is one of the most magnificent temples in Egypt, it is situated in southern Egypt near Sudanese border. It’s a temple that is worth visiting. It is built by Pharaoh Ramses in the 13th century. There are four huge statues that guard this temple. IT is a UNESCO heritage site. A must visit place for history lovers

Great Sphinx

Great Sphinx is in Giza near Cairo Egypt it is built during 2500 BC. It is 146 meters tall.  This limestone statue is with a Lion body and human head. It’s a must visit site in Egypt

Ramesseum

Egypt has so many amazing places and Ramesseum temple is one of them. It is in West bank of Luxor, Egypt. It is built during the 13th century.

Best Time to Visit the Pyramids of Giza

  1. October to April weather is cooler and more comfortable for exploring.
  2. Early morning 8AM-10 AM is the best time to visit if you want to avoid crowds
  3. The pyramids are closed at night, but you can watch Sound and Light show
  4. The peak tourist season is from December – February.
  5. Pyramid exploring takes about 3-4 hours.
  6. Wear breathable clothing, a hat, sunglasses and comfortable shoes
  7. If you want to enter the pyramid, it will require a separate ticket
  8. Reach Pyramids by taking a taxi, Uber or public bus from downtown Cairo
  9. Entry fee to Giza of Pyramids is around $8 US dollars
