Temple of Karnak

Best Time to Visit the Pyramids of Giza
- October to April weather is cooler and more comfortable for exploring.
- Early morning 8AM-10 AM is the best time to visit if you want to avoid crowds
- The pyramids are closed at night, but you can watch Sound and Light show
- The peak tourist season is from December – February.
- Pyramid exploring takes about 3-4 hours.
- Wear breathable clothing, a hat, sunglasses and comfortable shoes
- If you want to enter the pyramid, it will require a separate ticket
- Reach Pyramids by taking a taxi, Uber or public bus from downtown Cairo
- Entry fee to Giza of Pyramids is around $8 US dollars
